Alternative Finance day for Community Growing Projects

Are you a community growing organisation looking to explore new ways of increasing your income?
This day will provide you with the details of crowd funding, community shares, profile raising for income generation, linking up with businesses and loan financing, plus wonderful networking opportunities. There will be case studies, films and good food and company.
Chris Tomos, Social Entrepreneur, will inspire us on how communities can take control of their assets.
Phil Budd, Director, Swansea Community Farm, will share his experience on moving away from grant dependency.
Ken Elkes, Communications Manager, FCFCG, will demonstrate why public relations is vital to successful income generation plus an introduction to crowdfunding.
Ben Ferguson-Walker, Technical Development Officer for Ynni’r Fro Programme, will provide details of how community shares can raise income.
Mark White, Charity Bank’s Lending Manager in Wales, will be discussing loan finance options for community groups.
In order to cover the costs for the day including lunch, we are charging:
- £25 + VAT, members
- £60+ VAT, non members
